Volant Movement was founded in 2025 with a clear philosophy: exercise should build a body that supports a happy, capable, and resilient life.
Our training draws from the movements we perform every day — lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, rotating — and applies them intelligently through structured resistance training.
Sport, work, parenting, and hobbies all place unpredictable demands on the body. At Volant Movement, we focus on developing precise, functional strength that prepares you for real life — not just the gym floor.

Getting to know your trainer
Tom is a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach with 2+ years of experience helping individuals build strength, improve movement, and develop lasting physical resilience.
Tom holds a Certificate III and IV in Fitness through Chisholm Institute, as well as a Certificate II and III in Sport and Recreation, along with additional certifications in both Mat and Reformer Pilates.
With a lifelong background in high-level sport and over two years of coaching experience, Tom has developed a strong understanding of the role strength, mobility, and conditioning play in both performance and long-term health. He has worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, helping them move better, build strength, and develop sustainable habits that support an active lifestyle.
Through Volant Movement, Tom aims to create an environment where people can build strength, improve their health, and develop the physical capacity to live life without limitations.

Currently based out of RW Stone Reserve, Somers as per the fitness award travel from RW Stone Reserve is charged at $0.98 per km to and from location.
